She feels honored and inspired by her work with clients and their ability to be resilient during times of hardship and distress. Katie enjoys watching her clients’ growth and is deeply gratified to be a part of the journey. She believes in empowering her clients and providing them with tools so they can manufacture their own successes.

Her warm and nurturing, yet direct approach helps create an empathetic and accepting environment so meaningful change can occur. Katie helps clients to develop insight into behaviors, create strong coping strategies, and improve relationships.

With years of mental health experience in a variety of settings, Katie has extensive knowledge of treatment modalities and therapeutic techniques. She often utilizes Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), as well as Family Systems. A customized approach is created so clients can achieve their goals and reach their maximum personal potential.


Katie Jackson-Griffin, LCPC is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor in Illinois and Minnesota. She graduated in 2010 from Marymount University with her Master’s Degree in counseling.
